Scientific solution to the problem of casting mold cracking

For the user, the cracking of the casting mold is one of the most difficult problems in the casting process. For how to prevent this problem, Wuxi Huazhu has its own set of ideas. I would like to share with you here, I hope to be able to guarantee the quality of casting.

First, in order to prevent the problem of cracking of the die-casting mold and improve the service life of the mold, the mold should be fully warmed up before the die-casting production, so that it can achieve a better heat balance, make the solidification speed of the die-casting mold more uniform, and facilitate the transmission of pressure. At the same time, in order to maintain effective fluidity, the die-casting mold has good formability during die-casting and improves the surface quality of the die-casting part; finally, it reduces the cracking.

Second, the use of higher quality die-casting mold materials, to avoid the unreasonable material and affect the life of the mold.

Third, it is necessary to scientifically and rationally design the wall thickness of the mold and the size of the mold to meet the needs of practical applications.

Fourth, the mold is treated in the correct way, such as 哟 注意 pay attention to stress tempering after roughing; the speed of quenching in the heat treatment process is fast enough.

5. Thoroughly remove all unfavorable factors that are not conducive to the quality of the mold. The specific method is to completely remove the EDM interference quality layer; the surface is highly polished; reduce the amount of aluminum used, speed up the injection speed, and so on.

6. After the mold is molded, it should be cooled at a suitable temperature. The temperature of the cooling water must be kept at 40 to 50 °C; at the highest temperature of the model surface, the coolant should be turned off.
