On the one hand, the castings produced by the casting machine can be modified by means of arc welding, which is an arc effect heat source that uses gas discharge to dissolve and correlate the metal data of the electrode metal and the defective parts of the casting. This method is more economical and practical, and is widely applicable.

Or the gas welding using the oxygen-acetylene flame as the heat source to correct the casting of the casting machine. Since the heat generated by the gas welding is not as good as that of the arc welding, the temperature of the molten pool is low, and the tendency of small cracks in the heat affected zone is also compared. small.

On the other hand, brazing, gas maintenance welding and electroslag welding are also a series of welding methods used to correct cast castings. Each of them has its own characteristics. For example, brazing is based on the melting of the brazing filler metal in the case where the base metal is not melted, and is bonded after being dispersed and coagulated; the gas maintenance welding is an arc welding repair process under the maintenance of the CO2 gas medium; Electroslag welding is a welding method that uses electric current to pass through the slag to heat-melt the metal. Large castings are especially suitable.

In addition, the casting machine castings are modified by the metal spraying method and the casting immersion method. The former dissolves the alloy wire or powder with an oxygen-acetylene flame or a plasma arc, and coats the powder with a high-speed spray. The latter part needs to be completed under normal pressure or vacuum pressure effect, so that the liquid infiltrant is saturated and filled into the defects of the casting micropores and solidified, so as to effectively eliminate the leakage of the casting.
